Shane Harmon

Founder, Behavioral Health Transaction Advisors

Shane Harmon has more than 25 years of experience in business and commercial real estate transaction advisory, with a dedicated focus on behavioral healthcare transactions since 2008. Over his career he has completed more than $1 billion in real estate and business transactions, including over $500 million specifically within behavioral healthcare — spanning inpatient and outpatient real estate as well as the operating businesses themselves, across substance use treatment, mental health, psychiatric care, crisis stabilization, eating disorders, and recuperative housing.

From 2022 to 2026, Shane co-founded and co-led the Behavioral Healthcare platform at Blueprint Healthcare Real Estate Advisors, helping build it from the ground up into a dedicated practice combining real estate and business (M&A) transaction services under one roof. By the time of his departure, the platform had closed more than 60 transactions totaling over $400 million.

Before joining Blueprint, Shane spent a decade at Colliers International as Senior Vice President, building the firm's national behavioral health real estate practice as a solo specialist, and 13 years at CBRE, where he was recognized as Rookie of the Year and was a multi-year NAIOP Deal of the Year nominee.

Before moving into commercial real estate, Shane was a practicing CPA and real estate consultant with Ernst & Young's Real Estate Group. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Economics and Decision Sciences from the University of California, San Diego. His work spans transactions and engagements across 20 states, with relationships extending to public providers, private-equity-backed platforms, family offices, and regional operators nationwide. He lives in San Diego, CA with his family.
